Conversations about developing an organization that provided diverse social services for Houston’s Muslim community were ongoing for several years, but it was in 2017 that the founding board took the initiative to become operational. In the fall of 2018 Olive Branch officially launched with a series of mental health focused initiatives along with the beginnings of expanded programming and more extensive client services.
